Most of these pics are from my evening out with the littles. We all ate dinner at The Warf before Frank took Anne Louise to see Alice in Wonderland, and i took the others and walked around & rode the ferris wheel. There was a good bit of discussion as to whether or not they really wanted to go that high but a sense of adventure finally won out and we had a fun 5 minutes going round. The two of them are the likliest to butt heads in the fam so its really fun for me to see them behaving like they love each other.

…and i am 41. Wow! Anne Louise requested a trip to the Ono beach house with Grandonna for her b’day and since mine is so close i got to go, too! Good call, ALP. We spent a weekend in Feb. between my b’day and hers having a truely large time (as PopPop would say). We ate at Lulu’s and shopped a lot, and i took her to a movie one night- “Percy Jackson & The Lightening Thief”.

Also pictured are shots for her family cake at home on her real b’day. She has become quite the drama queen (ha.) so i thought it was time to pass along my special brass theater masks from when i was the drama queen (ha again.)

We are so honored to be asked to participate in the Chinese New Year celebration and be involved with the Chinese community around Montgomery. Lovely people. The girls all danced and Katy had a solo line. Anne Louise interpreted as the kids sang one song. And I sang “Molihua” (“Jasmine Flower”) in Chinese with the other adoptive moms. It was really a precious experience.

Friends were there including Andea (my old friend from high school), Shelby (Ella Grace’s friend), The Pope Fam, The Foti’s, and Kirby Rockett & mom, Kim.
