Frank and I took 23 people to a 7,000 person strong youth event in Daytona Beach, FL July 10-14. The worship leader was Chris Tomlin and the speaker was Louie Giglio-and AWESOME combination! Also, we saw Bethany Dillon and Shane and Shane in concert. We decided it would be good to have some time with just Katy, so we left her sisters home and she had a blast.

So…this was the draw back of the trip. I think this is the hotel they wrote “third rate romance, low rent rendezvous” about! Yuck!

We spent the Fourth at my mom’s, otherwise known as “the farm.” This is the first time we haven’t been to the beach on the Fourth of July in 7 years or so, but we had a wonderful time with Grandonna, PopPop and my step-brother’s family. He also has 3 girls, and they all enjoyed each other so much!
